The Proof of the Pudding

Well, less pudding than proofing – alas. I  have just received the proof copy of Sourdough and Other Stories. And now come the nerves and the vomit-inducing fear that I will find something hideously incorrect, a slew of repetitions, spelling mistakes and plot inconsistencies. Insecure writer? Moi? Nah. Realist, maybe. :-)
