An Invitation

Hello there.

I suppose you’re wondering why I’ve called you all here today. Well, it’s about a launch. The launch of our (Lisa L Hannett and moi) new book, Midnight and Moonshine, which is being published by the very lovely Ticonderoga.

We’re launching it officially in Brisbane on the eve of Friday 30th November at the wonderful Avid Reader in West End (193 Boundary Street,  West End QLD 4101, to be precise).

Should you be in Brisneyland at that time and be inclined to come along, hear the Brains read from the new tome and watch us be launched (but not into outerspace) by new Brisbane Writers Festival CEO (and spec-fic maven/aficionado) Kate Eltham, then please register as space is at a premium! Details below.

You can either go to Avid’s events calendar here.

You can email Avid at  events@avidreader.com.au.

Or phone Avid on 07 3846 3423.

So, the central message is: contact Avid for your Midnight and Moonshine booking pleasure! There will also be a limited number of Midnight and Moonshine Chapbooks for folk who purchase the book on the night at Avid – it will be on a first come, first served basis!

If you’ve got our other books, Lisa’s Bluegrass Symphony or my The Girl With No Hands and Other Tales or Sourdough and Other Stories, then bring them along if you’d like us to put our paw prints on them. We’ll sign just about anything except body parts.
