This is cool … it’s awesome … in fact, it’s a gravy boat of awesome sauce. Photographer Kyle Cassidy’s series of photos of writers in their work spaces lives here http://www.whereiwrite.org/ and it’s fab. C’mon, haven’t you ever wondered?
And count the cats …

I always make sure I have an OAC…Obligatory Author’s Cat.
I *must* paint my office a rich green….
Thanks for the site, Angela.
I know! Dogs seem to be in the minority … maybe coz a cat will sit and watch you for hours on end (or at least until hungry or requiring a 45 second pat), but a dog wants to play ball and be assured that you love her/him …
I always suspected Michael Swanwick’s writing room would look something like that…
I’m totally fascinated by Delany’s – but that may be the angle!
Cool. I’ve been going to another site by an author who has compiled a page/s of ‘Caves’. Some very cool caves there too.
Always interesting to see how others survive the torture, er, I mean fun!
How do so many writers write with all those books around? I’m sorry, but if there is a book within 100 ft. of me I am compelled to read it. Books are not allowed within reach or eyesight when I’m writing. It’s too distracting.
I know! ‘Research’ is a very broad and distracting term!
thanks for the plug!
Hey, no problem at all
Fantastic photos and I think all writers have a voyeuristic interest in what other people’s studies look like
. Mine is woeful compared to all of those one … all those books *drool*
