The good thing that happened yesterday (apart from putting the new bed together without the loss of fingers and only a modicum of swears) was that my Amazon UK thingies arrived.

So I was up late last night re-reading Halo Jones, the heroine of my teenage years (I initially started reading 2000AD by stealing it from an inattentive sibling).
It’s as awesome as I remember, the art is fantastic, and the storytelling experiments with perspective and voice are just mindblowing. Alan Moore = mad hairy genius.
Next: Nemesis … then the ABC Warriors … then Strontium Dogs … then Slaine … oooooh, I feel a purchasing jag coming on!
