To the Swanconatorium!

Luckily I have raised my head from where it’s been buried in my PhD and noticed that next week is Swancon. It’s lucky coz I’m going and am on two panels while I’m there:

Fairytales in Today’s World with Angela Slatter, Ellen Datlow, Jenny Blackford, Richard Harland, Amanda Pillar, on Sunday from 3-4pm

The Art of Blogging with Angela Slatter, Brin McLauchlan, on Monday from 10.30-11.30am

And also, the Brain (who will also be PhD-free by then) and I will get to reunite for a festival of crazy intense writing to do our best to knock over most of the Midnight and Moonshine collection we’re doing for Ticonderoga Publications (due out November 2012).

It’s been ages since I’ve been in Perth. Yessiree, next Wednesday we shall be in a nice hotel, ordering exhorbitantly priced room service and writing like word monkeys. Huzzah!

Ze full program, she is here.

Does this mean I’m not going to see you/LL in Perth unless I go to your panels? ‘Cuz that would be disappointing.

  2. Angela says:

Ah, if you’re sensible you’ll make a dinner date 🙂

  3. Flinthart says:

Oh, that horrid word… “sensible”. How often have you seen cause to accuse me of sensibility?

I’ll give it some thought. I will also give some thought to arriving in thunder and forcibly kidnapping you both… to a restaurant. For dinner. For such is my métier.

  4. Angela says:

We will accept manifestations involving lightning.
