Well, does what it says on the tin, I guess.
I woke up this morning to a variety of texts and social media taggings to say that my weird little novella, The Bone Lantern, has won the Shirley Jackson for Best Novella.
Absolutely surreal!
A huge congrats to all the finalists and winners, and to the judges and organisers for all their hard work. Much love to JS Breukelaar for collecting the award for me at ReaderCon and reading my speech! 
And thanks once again to the lovely Marie O’Regan for commissioning The Bone Lantern for PS Publishing’s Absinthe Imprint, and to Daniele Serra for that glorious cover!
