I got a copy of Joe Hill’s Horns in the mail the other day (great cover). It’s the first thing I’ve read of his and I was looking forward to it … on the upside, I think he’s a better writer than his dad … on the downside, on about p.5 I thought “I know who did it.” 🙁
Sure as eggs, I flicked to the back pages (yes, I know, it’s a terrible habit, but I can’t help myself) and I was right.
Now I can’t figure out if it was that obvious or if being a writer has ruined other books for me. Wah to the nth degree.
