Short Films

Had a very nice meeting with talented young film maker James Findlay yesterday ( and had a chat about making a film of one of my Daily Cabal microfictions, Sunday Drivers ( Another mutual friend, the equally talented Mark Kassab wrote a short film script, Sisters, based on Sunday Drivers, and James liked it so much that he wants to actually get funding and make the damned thing. Won’t make money, but it will certainly be a conversation piece! Something that’s an unexpected surprise. Would be cool if it happened! 🙂

Doing short films is a shitload of fun. I did one a few years back with Dragonwood Productions in Briz… now I’ve got the bug. Working on a five-minute script, hoping to shoot it with some friends in the trade here in Launceston. Waaaayyy too much fun not to try it, folks.

Oh, all I need is the story credit – someone with expertise can do the rest of it! 🙂
