Stories Soon to be Released into the Wild

Saturday morning being, as it often is, a time for gentle contemplation and hard procrastination, I was thinking about the short stories I have coming out this year … are there any? At first I shook my brain, but that merely caused a hollow echoing, and a few tumbleweeds blew across the streets of my mind. So I thought “Y’know, Angela, you keep a story register for a reason. Go check the story register.” Sometimes brain knows best.

So, thus far for 2009, here are the story stories I will have appearing at various stages:

In Mort Castle’s Doorways Magazine ‘Frozen’, which involves the twin evils of bingo and magic – at the printer now and soon to be unleashed upon the world.

In the new Twelfth Planet Press New Ceres Nights anthology – ‘The Piece of Ice in Miss Windermere’s Heart’, which tells of jewel thiefs, fat men and farting dgs – out in April, I do believe (with a sexy special pre-order hard cover edition available – http://www.twelfthplanetpress.com/).

In The Lifted Brow #5 – ‘Wordsmith’, which discusses the dangers of talking to storytellers – out in, ooooh, let’s say July, that sounds like a nice month.

In Fantasy Magazine – ‘The Chrysanthemum Bride’, which … mmm, well if I describe it I might give it away … so no, I say nothing – out in … oooh, don’t know :-). Stay posted.
