Today was the last day of the Brisbane Writers Festival and also the day when the newest 
edition of The Australian Writer’s Marketplace was launched.
I did the launching and it went well – by which I mean people laughed in the right places and I didn’t fall over, burst into flames, or swear either randomly or intentionally. So yay!
The awesome thing about this edition of AWM is that you can get the big fat full version (which is useful for hand-to-hand combat) and now you can get the mini-guides: The AWM: Writing Competitions, The AWM: Publishers and Agents, and The AWM: Freelance Opportunities. They’re proving so popular that they sold out by day 2 of the festival and had to be re-stocked!
